Kate Lundgren

OTR, MBA, SIPT, CSST

Kate graduated with a Bachelor of Science Occupational Therapy from San Jose State University and a Masters Degree in Business Administration from Pepperdine University. She has 35+ years of OT experience.  Kate has been an adjunct professor at Texas Women’s University’s MOT program and opened Cutting Edge Pediatric Therapy in 2013. Kate has a lengthy list of continuing education certifications. She served on the executive leadership council for Autism Speaks DFW and is the current board president at Grace Lake Ministries in Anna Texas, whose mission is to partner with horses to develop life skills and God centered wholeness for those with diverse physical, developmental, and emotional needs.

Kate and her husband Joe are the owner of Cutting Edge Pediatric and Adult Therapy.  This organization provides speech and language therapy, occupational therapy, physical therapy, counseling, social skills groups, aquatic therapy, and behavioral therapy (ABA) to individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities. Cutting Edge values collaboration amongst all 5 disciplines and sees the tremendous growth and progress their clients achieve on a daily basis. The clinic is dedicated to assisting clients and families in achieving their maximum level of function while providing a safe, comfortable, and inviting atmosphere for the client and their family. Most importantly, Kate and Joe are the parents of two adult sons with autism.  Joe and Kate have partnered together to advocate to improve the level of service provision provided in the state of Texas.
